Yesterday could have been miserable because of the rain, but it turned out to be a satisfactory halloween, collecting cans in the rain.
Today was even better with the sudden fall of a great number of leaves and their wonderful color changes. i finished one of the greatest novels i've ever read and wandered around in the autumn daze. the local square is on of those places that never gets old and never limits its beauty to one season or other. a small corner shop that sells British groceries was surprisingly open after a long time of disappointment finding it closed. the woman there was so nice and has only been living here for a year. she was from Wales and was shocked to find out i'd like to one day visit the U.K. since she seems to like this suburban place a lot more than her seaside town across the ocean. i bought some garibaldis and my friend got some marshmallow scrumptious of somesort that the lady insisted were 'lovely, gooey, and loovely!' i loved that woman!
caught up unintentionally with a friend from school who bought an album outside the antique store, so we briefly talked and went in where we saw some amazing sailor jackets that we could not afford..
they always have beautiful relics there, postcards from the early 1900s that are almost illegible because of the whispy beauty everyone seemed to house within their delicate fingers.
then we had a indian style no-blanket picnic in the park, and i wish this weather would stick in time and keep everyone wearing warm clothes and coats. i like it too much, the firey trees giving off some scent of decay and history, a short history, of chlorophyll and another year of living. days like these should never end.
